Your First Visit to Our Wilmington Practice

Your first visit will take up to an hour.  You will be greeted by our friendly staff who will help you with the paperwork.  Our intake form is lengthy as we need to ascertain all aspects of your past and current life.  Don't stress yourself too much with this form, just give us the basics and if you need help, the staff and the Doctor will get the information from you.  You will need to tell us everything and be honest about all the details.

Then you will get the most attention and detailed exam that you have probably ever had.  X-rays, or other specialty neurological testing may also be done on the first day.  We will let you know if and how we can help that day.  You will be re-scheduled by our receptionist for the next day to go over the findings.

Take a look to see what you can expect during your second visit

Dr. Ryan Asks some important questions of interest to Wilmington residents - Chiropractor Wilmington Dr. Ryan Asks...

How could a child benefit from chiropractic?
Regardless of our age, each of us in Wilmington encounters physical, chemical and emotional stresses that exceed our ability to handle. For newborns, it could be the trauma encountered at birth. For toddlers it could be from learning to walk or ride a bike. Many of the problems we chiropractors see in adults are the result of neglected traumas from childhood.
Are chiropractors just concerned with the spine?
Our interest in the spine is because it covers the major communications conduit between your brain and your body. As a Wilmington chiropractor my job is to locate areas (usually along the spine) that interfere with proper nerve communications to and from your brain. Chiropractic adjustments help restore nervous system integrity. In this way, chiropractic care can affect the function of your entire body.
